The Background
Mathew 25: 34-36
34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.
Leviticus 19: 33-34
33 “When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. 34 You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
Deuteronomy 10: 17-19
17 For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribe. 18 He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing. 19 Love the sojourner, therefore, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.
Mathew 24: 45 - 47
45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 47 Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.

Beginning
One night while at home with friends, one of them got a call. A woman had been dropped of at a gas station with only the clothes that were on her back. She had nowhere to go, no money to go there, and no one to stay with. I was willing to let her stay with us but was advised against it. In that moment i decided in my heart to make a place where people like her could go in emergency situations such as that.
Vision
To provide a place of rest, shelter, and peace for those in need of a low cost place to stay and an opportunity to get back on their feet.
